The Nation of Israel Is Living Proof of God's Reality!

The Nation of Israel is proof of God’s reality because the Bible provides the far beyond amazing account of how Almighty God brought this nation into existence by using His mighty supernatural powers to perform many breathtaking miracles which happened over a period of several hundred years! The Bible reveals how God created the Nation of Israel from the family of a man to whom He gave the new name - ISRAEL!

The very existence of the Nation of Israel is the fulfillment of the incredible promises Almighty God made to a man named Abraham, who lived about 4,000 years ago! God promised that He was going to make a great nation from Abraham's descendants and that He would give a certain land to him and his descendants to be an everlasting possession! God also promised Abraham that his descendants would be His chosen people and He would be their God forever! (Genesis chapter 12)

The Bible then provides a very detailed account of all the miraculous works and breathtaking miracles The Mighty Creator performed to bring the Nation of Israel into existence from the family of Abraham’s grandson to whom He gave the new name - ISRAEL!

The Bible says in Genesis 35:9-13, "God appeared to Jacob again, when he came from Paddan-Aram, and blessed him. And God said to him, 'Your name is Jacob; no longer shall your name be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name.' So he called his name Israel. And God said to him, "I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body. The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and I will give the land to your offspring after you. Then God went up from him in the place where he had spoken with him."

These verses bring God's reality and existence into view in a very powerful way as they reveal that the Nation of Israel in the world today comes from Abraham's grandson and actually gets its name from the new name God gave to him - the name ISRAEL! The existence of the Nation of Israel is "LIVING PROOF" of God's reality, which is right before everyone's eyes, because its existence comes from God fulfilling the awesome promises He made to Abraham to make a great nation from his descendants!

However, this is only the beginning of how the Bible reveals that Israel is the nation God created from Abraham's descendants as he promised He was going to do! The Bible records how Almighty God orchestrated a series of miraculous events to happen, including completely controlling all the forces of nature for 14 years in a row, which brought a severe famine into the whole world, specifically to make it possible for the family of Israel to relocate into the land of Egypt. This was a very important part of God's great plan to bring the Nation of Israel into existence!

The family of Israel remained in Egypt for 400 years during which time God miraculously multiplied their numbers from a family of 70 people into a great nation of around two million people! The Egyptians were so intimidated by the fast-growing numbers of Israel they forced them into hard slavery and afflicted them in such cruel and brutal ways they cried out to the God of their forefathers, the Mighty God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob/Israel. The LORD heard their cries for help and He sent a man named Moses to deliver His people out of slavery. The Almighty God then sent ten very severe and disastrous plagues upon the land of Egypt to force the Egyptians to set the Nation of Israel free. These plagues are some of the greatest miracles recorded in the Bible, and they are greater than anything Mankind has ever witnessed throughout all time! Moses led the descendants of Abraham out of Egypt and through the desert and eventually to their "promised land," the very same land God had promised to give to Abraham several hundred years before!

The LORD helped the Nation of Israel conquer the people living in this land who were much greater and more numerous, by His mighty powers. The Nation of Israel took possession of their "promised land" about 1450 BC and was established as an independent nation by occupying the land God had originally promised to Abraham. The existence of the Nation of Israel in the past is not only documented by the Bible, but also by the written records of world history.

All this fulfilled the incredible promises God made to Abraham to make a nation from his descendants and give this specific land to them. These amazing promises are continuing to be fulfilled right before our eyes because Abraham’s descendants are occupying this "promised land" today! Just as the Mighty God has fulfilled all the great promises He made to Abraham so far, He will certainly continue to fulfill all the promises He made to him which extend throughout all eternity!

Here are a few of the many other ways the Bible "proves" that the Nation of Israel is the nation God created from Abraham’s descendants:

(1) The Bible provides “SOLID PROOF” that the land the Nation Israel occupies today IS the same land God gave to Abraham! This is proven by the fact that many places the Bible names Abraham visited and dwelled in the land God gave to him are all locations existing in the Nation of Israel today! Genesis 12:6 tells us that when God brought Abraham into this "promised land" he passed through the land and came first to the place named Shechem. Genesis 12:7 says the LORD then appeared to Abraham and said, "To your offspring I will give this land." Soon after this he pitched his tent near Bethel where he built an altar and called on God. The Bible tells us how Abraham later returned to Bethel and God spoke to him there and said, "Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever."(Genesis 13:14-15) The Bible informs us in Genesis 22:19 that Abraham lived for a season in Beersheba. Beersheba is one of the largest cities in the Nation of Israel today! Abraham also lived in Haran, which is in the West Bank of Israel today. It was here he purchased a field which had a cave in it and it was here he buried his wife Sarah. Abraham's grandson Israel was buried in this same cave as well as his son Joseph. This is a famous tourist attraction in the land of Israel today! All of these and many more places Abraham visited, traveled to, and lived in, are all in the land of Israel today, which proves that the land God gave to Abraham 4,000 years ago is the same land the Nation of Israel occupies today!

When Moses led the Nation of Israel to their "promised land" he wrote down the geographical boundaries of the land they would conquer using well-known geographical markers like the Jordan River as the Eastern boundary and the Mediterranean Sea as the Western boundary. The Southern boundary includes the Salt Sea and the Northern boundary includes Mount Hor. This geographical description of Israel's "promised land" provided by Moses is recorded in the Book of Numbers 34:1, and it is the same boundaries of the land Israel occupies today!

(2)  Abraham was the first man in the Bible to be called a Hebrew. The descendants of Abraham are referred to as Hebrews 18 times in the Old Testament, including eight times in the book of Exodus during the time Abraham’s descendants dwelled in Egypt, and when Moses led his descendants out of slavery. Exodus‬ ‭7:16‬ is God telling Moses what to say to the Pharaoh of Egypt,‭ “And you shall say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness.” But so far, you have not obeyed.”

Abraham’s descendants are the only people on this planet to ever read, write, and speak, Hebrew! It certainly is not a coincidence that Hebrew is the official language in the Nation of Israel today! The people of Israel are Hebrew because they are the descendants of Abraham and the people Moses led out of Egypt!

(3) The people of Israel have celebrated the Day of Passover throughout all the centuries since the time Moses commanded them to observe and celebrate this day as a statute “forever!” The Day of Passover commemorates the day God saved the Children of Israel from the plague of death He brought upon all the firstborn throughout the land of Egypt. This was the last and most severe plague God brought upon Egypt so they would set His people free. God saved the Nation of Israel from this death by instructing them to paint blood around their doors so when death passed through the land it would "pass over" their dwellings.

The Israelites have honored and observed this special day each year since the time Moses commanded them to do so, no matter where they lived in this world, and they continue to do so today! The fact that the people of Israel have passed this sacred tradition on from one generation to the next since Moses instructed them to observe this most Holy day each year, clearly reveals that the people of Israel today are the descendants of the people Moses led out of Egypt!

(4)  God revealed through His prophet Ezekiel who lived around 586 BC that someday the nation of Israel would be defeated and the people would be dispersed into all parts of the world, which happened in 70 AD when the Romans defeated Israel. Ezekiel also foretold that someday the Nation of Israel would be restored. (see Ezekiel 37) This happened in 1948 when the Nation of Israel became a nation again after the people had been in exile for almost 1,900 years! The reason why God can reveal what is going to happen in the future through His prophets is because He plans what is going to happen in the future, and He completely controls all that happens, because He makes the future happen!

The Nation of Israel becoming a nation again in the world is an enormous miracle God performed! No other nation in the history of the world has ever ceased to exist and then come back into existence again! It is the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy, and it is the continuation of God fulfilling the eternal promise He made to Abraham to give the land Israel occupies today to this nation as an "everlasting possession!"

Discovering how the Nation of Israel is “PROOF” of God’s reality is one of the most important discoveries any human being can ever make because making this discovery brings a supernatural awakening into their lives that comes from God! This powerful awakening brings a supernatural faith and awareness of God’s reality into their lives, which is what makes it possible for them to receive the infinitely great and valuable gift of everlasting life from the GIVER OF ALL LIFE!

Bringing the Nation of Israel into existence is one of the most important works The Great Creator has performed since He created the whole Universe and all the life on this planet! All that God did to create this nation, and all of His dealings with this nation, are so important it takes up roughly 3/4 of the entire Bible! God gave the whole world His laws (The Ten Commandments) through the Nation of Israel! He gave the Holy Bible to the whole world through the Nation of Israel! God brought His only Son, Jesus, into the world through the Nation of Israel!

God sacrificed the innocent life of His only Son and placed the severe penalty of eternal punishment which has been placed upon all people because of our sins upon Him when He suffered and died a horribly cruel and painful death upon the cross. By shedding the innocent blood of Jesus and placing all the punishment we deserve upon Him, God made a way for people in this world to be set free from this severe punishment and receive the infinitely great gift of EVERLASTING LIFE!

The land of Israel will someday be the location of God’s "Eternal Promised Land" which is what many people commonly refer to as "Heaven!" The Bible informs us in the 21st chapter of Revelation that at the end of this present age God is going to make a new Heaven and a new Earth and He will then bring the eternal city called the NEW JERUSALEM down from Heaven to be the eternal home for all of His people to dwell with Him FOREVER!

The Bible gives us many details about this glorious eternal city. It reveals that this city is 1,400 miles square, which is about half the size of the United States! It has streets made of pure gold, and has a great high wall made of precious stones that form the perimeter of this enormous city! The Bible says the brilliance of God’s glory will light up this city so there will be no night, it will be an eternal day forever! All those who come into this city will receive new perfect bodies that never grow old, never get sick, and never die! There will be no evil in this city! The Bible informs us the Great Creator will bring His throne and the throne of Jesus and place them in this Holy City and will bring all of His chosen people into this beautiful city to dwell with Him FOREVER!

When God brings Abraham and many of his descendants into this "promised land" it will be the beginning of the eternal promise He made to Abraham to give the land of Israel to him and his descendants forever!

This is because the beautiful eternal city NEW JERUSALEM will take the place of the city of Jerusalem that exists now, which is the capital of the land God has already given to Abraham and his descendants as an everlasting possession! The Bible confirms this in a powerful way when it discloses that the names of Abraham’s great-grandsons, the twelve sons of Israel, will be inscribed on the twelve gates of this Holy city! (see Revelation 21:12)

When God fulfills His eternal promise to Abraham in this glorious way He will also fulfill His eternal promise to all of His other chosen people (the Gentiles) by bringing them into this beautiful ETERNAL PROMISED LAND at the same time!

This should bring tremendous faith, hope, and JOY to all of God’s people because of knowing that just as The LORD has fulfilled all of the promises He made to Abraham thus far, He will certainly fulfill the eternal promise He made to Abraham, which is when and how He will also fulfill His eternal promise to all of His chosen people!

When God brings all of His chosen people into the Holy City NEW JERUSALEM eternity will begin! Life, as it exists now on this planet, will have come to an end, however, the eternal life given to those who have their names written in the BOOK OF LIFE will have just begun!

The glorious eternal city NEW JERUSALEM will be the "Eternal Promised Land" for Abraham and his descendants, and all of God’s People FOREVER! Hallelujah! Amen!
